Raw Axon is a patented material manufactured from a flexible carbon fibre braid surrounding a foam core. Lengths are laid into a tool using our patented automated process. The tool is closed and sealed - resin is drawn into the tool under negative pressure. The vacuum also causes the foam core to expand, forcing the carbon braid to fill the mould cavity. After curing, the final object is strong, stiff, lightweight and ready for use straight from the tool.

Inserts, attachments and services such as cables, fibre optics, hydraulics, pneumatics etc. can be included during the process.

The tooling is made from low cost materials that are easy to machine. The time taken from design to production is typically reduced to a few days.
